Breaking News! Federal Tax Credits Extended and Expanded
The long-awaited extension of the Production (PTC) and Investment Tax Credits (ITC) were finally passed as part of the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 (H.R. 1424) and have now been signed into law by President Bush. The tax credit package, which is the same that passed the Senate on September 24, will extend the PTC for one year and the ITC for eight years and lifts the cap of $2000 for residential projects to 30% of the net cost of an installed system. Granite Bay Energy Ranked Among Top Sacramento Photovoltaic Contractors
The Sacramento Business Journal recently ranked Granite Bay Solar Energy 4th on the list of top Sacramento-area Photovoltaic contractors in terms of generating capacity installed in 2007. During that year, Granite Bay installed 2,000 Kilowatts of generating capacity, with an annual revenue of $10 million.
